Purpose of the tools

BakerPrice offers estimates to help home bakers understand recipe costs and potential selling prices. The outputs depend on the figures and assumptions you enter. They are not a valuation of your business or a promise that customers will accept a quoted price.

Your inputs and checks

Use consistent units and one currency throughout a calculation. Currency selection changes display labels; it does not convert amounts. Include all relevant costs and review the result before relying on it. Example values are illustrative, not verified market prices.

Owner pay, margin and whole batches

Owner pay is treated separately from the residual profit target. The cookie tool charges this order for the whole batches required and does not assume leftover cookies will sell. Read the methodology for each formula and limitation. Check real production and delivery schedules separately from active working hours.

Tax, food rules and professional advice

The tools do not determine tax, food-business registration, allergen labelling, insurance or other local obligations. Obtain appropriate advice where needed. Nothing on BakerPrice guarantees legal compliance, earnings or business success.

Customer quotes

A printed result is an estimate generated from your inputs. Review the description, quantity, tax treatment, design, delivery date and conditions before sharing it. A BakerPrice printout does not reserve a date or create an agreement between BakerPrice and your customer.

Saved information

The current calculators do not save input values. Keep your own copy of important calculations. For website data processing, refer to our Privacy Policy.

Errors and updates

Tools and explanations may change as errors are corrected and features improve. Report a suspected error through our contact page. Keep enough non-sensitive example information to help reproduce the issue.
